So big! So sweet! At 2 months he was very generous with his smiles and loved being around people. He loved "talking with me" especially in the mornings. We would have a good 15 minutes of chatting to start our days. I am absolutely in love with his sweet, deep, little man voice! He is so engaged already, it almost feels like a real conversation. I hope he will always enjoy talking with us!
We had a little photo shoot to document his birthday! Unfortunately, he got his first cold this day and you can tell a little bit in his eyes that he didn't feel 100%. Luckily, the cold passed quickly! Here is a slide show of some of my favorite pictures:

2nd Month Slideshow
Here are pictures of some highlights from Weston's 2nd month (Dec 26 - Jan 25). We were so blessed with the way things turned out so that Tim got to stay home with us for the first 6 weeks of Weston's life. Definitely one of the best times of my life so far, enjoying the start of parenthood together. I imagine that even at the end of my life, it will be one of my favorite times. Such an answer to prayer! A precious gift.
First Month Slideshow
So in an effort to get back on top of the blog … but not wanting to leave anything out and at the same time finally realizing that I'm never going to catch up if I intend to do every blog post I've wanted to do … I am going to be putting up a few slideshows with captions to at least provide an overview. We've been having SO MUCH fun!

Dec 3 - Tim's Birthday
Only a few months late ;) Here are pictures from Tim's birthday lunch at the Salt Lick which was also Weston's first outing besides the doctor's office! His mom's parents flew in from Tucson, Arizona to meet Weston and celebrate with Tim. It was a great visit and we are so thankful they made the effort to come all that way to celebrate with our family!!

Weston's 1st Christmas
Weston was exactly 1 month old on Christmas Day! Christmas is a very special day in our family. First, and most importantly, it is the day of our savior's birth. It also happens to be the day that Tim proposed to me (in 2004) in a Santa suit on Christmas morning. So this year, we had great fun dressing Weston up in a Santa suit (thank you Jo) for our Christmas morning celebration with Granna & Grandpa Kuykendall, Nana Lindsey, Aunt Michelle, Aunt Kendall and Cousin Jackson.
YES!!!
5 years later!
Ready for Weston's first trip to church on Christmas Eve!
Santa-baby!
Here is a slideshow of a few more pics from Christmas!
alive & well & GROWING!!!
So, one of these days we'll get the hang of staying on top of the blog … hopefully! But in the mean time we are just amazed by our little man and how quickly the days are flying by and how quickly he is growing and changing! I have so many out-dated posts that I want to get up, but if I wait to get all of those up before posting something new, it will be a never ending battle of being late. So here is a sneak peak of our 2 month old and an update on all the stats.
We are lovingly calling Weston our baby-toddler. We just don't know how he is already so big! At his 6 week appt he was already the size of a 4 month old! Here are his stats:
- Birth: 11.25.09 - 10lbs, 10oz, 22in
- 6wks: 01.05.10 - 13lbs, 14oz, 24.25in
- 2mos: 01.29.10 - 15lbs, 5oz, 25.5in
See what we mean? How is this happening so fast?
These aren't great pictures, but seeing him in his car seat gives great perspective. We've already moved the straps up once and are about to need to move them to the top notch.
And here is a glimpse of his sweet smile. I just can't get enough of this face! Even his eyes smile :o)
I promise there is more cuteness to come! Stay tuned :o)
